Our History

M. R. Electricians was started in Rockville, Maryland in 1996 by brothers Mark and Rob Dols. In early 1997, the pair was joined by Mark's spouse, Victoria Dols. Mark and Victoria continue to run and grow the business today.

Over the past 16 years,we have established ourselves as leaders in the electrical industry. We maintain constant and growing relationships with existing clients and new clientele that has enabled us to thrive and grow, despite the ups and downs of the economy.

We take pride in staying continually educated and up-to-date, and we offer educational classes to employees regularly. An important mission of ours is to have the most highly-trained electricians in the field. Through teamwork, education, and skill, we believe that anything is possible.

Furthering Women in the Electrical Contracting Field

As a Woman Owned Small Business and members of the NAWBO, M. R. Electricians is taking steps to advance women in the electrical field. Recognizing an under-representation by women in the industry, Ms. Dols is becoming involved in a number of organizations that will help promote women in the field, and is pursuing her Master Electrician's license. She also intends to stand out as a subject matter expert for both commercial and residential electrical work, and encourage other women in the field to contribute their knowledge and expertise through blogs, networking, seminars and more.
