Certifications

M. R. Electricians is proud to hold prestigious certifications that ensure that our work is among the best in the industry. Our certifications include:

NICET Certified

NICET is the National Institue for Certification in Engineering Technologies. NICET offers numerous certifications for various industries, including certifications in the electrical field. M. R. Electrician's owner Mark Dols holds NICET I and NICET II Certifications in Fire Alarm Systems.

Master Electrician

In order to do electrical work in the state of Maryland, one must get a master electrician license from the Maryland Board of Master Electricians. To qualify for the exam applicants must have seven years of work experience under the supervision of a master electrician or similarly-qualified person. Mark Dols is M. R. Electrician's Master Electrician. Mark holds Master licenses in both Maryland and Virginia.

National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)

Founded in 1975, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the unified voice of America's more than 10 million women-owned businesses representing the fastest growing segment of the economy. M. R. Electricians is a Woman Owned Small Business and a member of the NAWBO. Owner Victoria Dols is commited to furthering the work of women in the electrical industry, and is currently pursuing her Master Electrician license.

Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC)

Founded in 1957, the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is a national trade association for merit shop electrical and systems contractors. IEC believes in developing and fostering a stronger economy through the level of quality and services its members provide to the industry. Drawing from the dedication and desire of contractors in the independent sector, our country is able to benefit from a flexible array of services and competitive pricing which helps maintain an affordable level of costs on utilities and communication.

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its national standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. WBENC is also the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations.
